The 4th Annual Iowa High School Team Championship has been settled. A new school claims the title this year after seeing Washington High School walk away with it two times and Marion High School once. ADM (Adel-DeSoto-Minburn) are the 2022 Team Champions. The four members that can claim this crown for a year include; Shay Holdmeyer, Torin Timmerman, Isaac Chapman and Kyler Chapman. They brought 10 bass to the scales (the only team to do so) that weighed 16.06 pounds. In second place was the young team of Cedar Falls. In their first ever tournament appearance the Tigers brought 7 bass to the scales that weighed 13.69 pounds. Rounding out the top three was the team from Independence, they had 8 bass that weighed 11.83 pounds. In the individual race, Kael and Gavin from the Cedar Falls Tigers Fishing Team walked away as Champions. This duo had 10.32# for their biggest five bass, over a pound heavier than the Runner-Up team from ADM. Complete stats are below:
